You have discovered - whether by design or good fortune - the journal of world famous author and adventurer, Gilderoy Lockhart, five-time winner of Witch Weekly’s “Most Charming Smile” award, Order of Merlin (3rd class), and honorary member of the Dark Force Defence League. It seems that my attempts to escape the public eye have been foiled again. My private journals, once a source of secret pleasure for yours-truly alone, are now a matter of public record and as such I have taken it upon myself to begin the arduous task of transcribing abridged versions of my greatest works into these pages for all to read.

My intention is to update this journal with regular installments of my most popular books, beginning with Voyages with Vampires. Feel free to peruse these pages at will. After all - dear reader - my life has been dedicated to providing a safer and happier world for us all...
